Mrs. Ittig arbitrates disputes privately and for domestic and international arbitral institutions as a single arbitrator or as chair of a panel.

She has served as arbitrator of disputes over the transfer of technology for missiles, construction of a superjumbo airliner, international sale of a construction company, defective work on power and chemical plants, design errors on waste water treatment facilities, construction of intelligence community structures, oversease oil-field services, condomiums and hotels, as well as scheduling issues and cost-overruns for commercial and industrial projects.

Her commercial arbitration experience includes franchise disputs, dissolution of partnerships, transportation contracts, and securities investment disputes.

She has arbitrated for the International Chamber of Commerce and is on the following arbitrator panels:

  • International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) (Commercial Panel, Construction Panel and Franchising Panel)
  • FINRA (Formerly NASD)
  • International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR)
  • American Arbitration Association (Commercial Panel, Construction Panel)

Mrs. Ittig is listed on the AAA's Construction Master Arbitrator Roster.

Mrs. Ittig has been on the AAA's arbitrator national training faculty since 1996. She helped develop and presented the 2-day advanced arbitrator course for construction and commercial arbitrators. She also assited in writing, and she presents, the 2-day arbitrator course that is currently required of all arbitrators.
